Our Projects

Below is a sample of recent projects that we have undertaken on behalf of our clients.

Quinninup Dam Spillway Replacement
Spillway replacement for a nine metre-high earthfill dam, the central point of a semi-rural ‘lifestyle’ community. Project management comprised obtaining and managing all permits and approvals, construction management and extensive community liaison.

Glen Mervyn Dam Spillway Replacement
Partial demolition of a structurally unacceptable spillway, and construction of a new structure meeting current dam safety requirements. Environmental constraints and a stringent construction window were complicating factors.

Quinninup and Northcliffe Source Development
Source development planning and project management for rural drinking water schemes. Planning included identification and investigation of source options including groundwater, scheme regionalisation and innovative treatment strategies. Project management duties included hydrogeological assessment, exploration drilling, whole of project cost estimates, and water quality assessment.

Mungalup Dam Remedial Works
Construction of a toe berm, installation of new filters and instrumentation for a 13-metre-high earthfill dam. The project required complex environmental management, including accommodation of priority flora species and aquatic fauna, complicated dieback management, and catchment management.

Phillips Creek Dam Stability Works
Works included toe weighting, and installation of new filters, a clay blanket liner, and instrumentation. Environmental management included obtaining relevant approvals and adherence with requirements for undertaking works in a State Forest.

Denmark and Margaret River Ultrafiltration Plants
Urgent installation of two emergency ultrafiltration water treatment plants to resolve unanticipated water quality issues. On behalf of our clients, we organised procurement, delivery, installation and integration with existing water infrastructure. Both projects were delivered within six months.

Walpole Effluent Management
Construction of a reservoir, pipeline, pump, and tree farm for wastewater recycling. Project Management duties included contract administration and commissioning. Planning was undertaken for a subsequent upgrade. This work included conveyance planning, and engineering, land use, environmental and heritage assessments.

Quinninup and Northcliffe Source Development
Source development planning and project management for rural drinking water schemes. Planning included identification and investigation of source options including groundwater, scheme regionalisation and innovative treatment strategies. Project management duties included hydrogeological assessment, exploration drilling, whole of project cost estimates, and water quality assessment.

Walpole Groundwater and Surface Water Investigation
Comprehensive hydrogeological, environmental, land use, and heritage assessment of potential groundwater and surface water sources in an internationally recognised wilderness area. Identified and located a previously unknown 1Megalitre per day (ML/day) groundwater source, providing a cost effective alternative solution for our client.

Bridgetown Regional Water Supply Scheme
Comprehensive constraints investigations of groundwater, surface water, and conjunctive use options to supply drinking water to seven of the state’s most drought-affected communities.

Nannup Bore and Transfer Main
Planning, project management, and construction administration of a 9ML/day South West Yarragadee Aquifer bore, 27-kilometre pipeline, and three transfer pump stations. This fast-tracked emergency project was delivered in 14 months. Strong management, creative procurement, and innovative contracting approaches yielded a cost saving of 21% on this $28 million project.

South West Ultraviolet Module Installation
Emergency installation of ultraviolet modules in 14 rural water supply schemes in the state’s South West region. Project Management involved procurement, water quality assessment, commissioning and integration with existing water treatment infrastructure.
